At some point they need to move on from Chevvy. He's far from the worst GM out there and he has shown success in building within the challenges of the Winnipeg market. But at the same time, that team has appeared dysfunctional for years now and you have to have accountability. He's the one who built that lockerroom.
I will say that I appreciate orgs like the Jets and Blue Jackets who commit to management stability and give their guys a chance to implement long term planning and strategies. But Chevvy ain't Poile, and after 12 years I wonder if it's time to give someone else a shot.
