Pretty good response from the last game. Second period sucked ass, but a couple of fortuitous bounces in the third helped solidify the win. Don't have much else to add. Didn't watch much of the third because I was busy getting ready for tomorrow.

I'll give Detroit credit of making a game of it in the second period.

Detroit's third period was terrible.

They need some serious renos.

The refs tried to jolt the Wings to life but alas it was not to be. An excellent road game by the Jets. I thought the bottom 6 were fantastic in this game and they really contributed positively with solid efforts across the board.

Hellebuyck wasn't fantastic, and I can't recall him needing to make a "difficult" looking save, but he was good enough to get it done so whatever.

Connor was other worldly, Vilardi got it together, Stanley was Stanley, and Alex Lyon was terrible.

We will see how things go this season, but this looks like a really competitive team. Had a stumble against the Leafs but right back at it the next game. Lets come out Friday and show dominance against Columbus.
