That was a hell of a showing by the Jets, an important game and the Jets were game for it. Full marks for every part of the Jets game front to back. Nice that they got the board up and running for us just before the game

The early returns on Schenn and Tanev have been absolutely incredible. Just goes to show the value of incorporating players who want to compete for the ultimate prize over the sexy, flashy name(s). Tip of the cap to Chevy on that one.

Blocking shots, laying the body, clearing net front, and doing whatever it takes to win. They are adding another element of winning hockey to an already scary good squad.

The boys absolutely came to play tonight and rose to the occasion. They suffocated the Stars all night long and took away so many of their key players. The crowd was fantastic, too. You could feel the energy through the broadcast.

Man, I am starting to get excited for the Spring and I am f***ing proud of this team.

Stars fell victim to Kyle Dubas syndrome. They went out and got Rantanen when they didn’t need more offence and elected to ice a right-side D of Ceci, Lybushkin and Dumba, and it’s biting them in the ass.
