Re: Stutzle... I am not sure he fits the culture here. Seems too much of a ' me first' player...

I think playing in whatever culture he is in... is destroying his outlook... seems frustrated there...

I think he would fit right in...
Can’t even take a forceful forearm to the back of the neck and have his head slammed into the ice while taking a face off.
He’d never survive the regular season in the Central Division. :sarcasm:

Ottawa has their weaknesses, but their offensive zone movement makes teams look like the Keystone Cops on regular occasion in the defensive zone. Coverage was indeed sloppy but I give at least partial credit to the Sens' offensive zone rotations.

I agree they also did a good job of forecheck, crashing down on pinches, and keeping the Jets hemmed in at times. Where they struggled was egregious gaffs in structure when you could finally break out. Way too many odd man rushes and high danger chances. They need to get way more consistent with their transition to neutral zone defense. Though situation for them when they are misssing so much talent but I think they need to listen to their coach more and follow team defensive plan.

Fun game I was running daughter to and from practice so I missed most of the 3rd period. Once they got up 3 zip on a depleted team I felt they had the game. Ottawa getting one made it more interesting but I wasn’t nervous (a common emotion watching my teams).

Love how our coaches spread it out tonight, 4th line with more than 10 minutes played and only one forward with 20 minutes. Doing a very good job of roster Managment on the 1st of a B2B. Samberg was the only guy who got used a fair amount was Samberg but I think he must of got caught out on a long shift or two.

This might not be interesting to others but when Chynoweth mangages his sheltering (matchups notwithstanding) he seems to do it by shift length as well as shift count. Stanley and Miller had 19-19 shifts compared to 25 for both Morrissey and Samberg but the usage in minutes was about 13:20 for each of the 3rd pair and more like 22:00 for the top users. Top shift count was DeMelo at 27 but he only got 20:00 minutes of usage? I think Dean is doing a really good job of managing the defense this season.

For the most part didnt like our game last night. Got beat to too many pucks, sloppy passing, overall wasnt pretty, but a wins a win!

They do have a lot of talent up front and some good offensive dmen.

I honestly really don't have a clue how with all the talent they have that they aren't better then they are.

Wasn't really a difficult game from my view. Sens were severely undermanned. V nice 2 way play on the first Jets goal.

This is bananas.

He was fighting the puck a bit last night, but man he shut it down in the 3rd when it mattered. Instrumental on that final kill to put the game to rest.

Love me some, Snerg.

Locking him up long term should be a priority this off season. I think he has a chance to be a top pairing d man in the future.

Been saying for a few weeks, he's been probably in my top 5 MVPs for the Jets this year. Outstanding defensively, while facing the toughest competition on average among our D group, & probably the most chaotic partner. Bunch of posters on here apparently stan for Stan. I'm in on Dylan, appreciate the greatness he's provided this year.

the captain was a BEAST last night.
he just picked the Sens up, shook em hard and settled them down. after they got the goal there was a couple shifts where Lowry just hammered them on entries and exists on the boards.

10stars I would Bang Marry and kill Big Adam Lowry!!!!
