The game turned on the Jets 2nd goal when those two Wild players teamed up on Iafallo.

I think a lot of GMs know that PLD was an inconsistent prima donna. That trade was seen as an LA overpay by many, many people. LA Kings fans were beside themselves with it then and it's still a regular point of discussion on their board.

How was it an overpay?
#1 Center for a top 6 winger and 2 bottom six players that’s the going rate.
Don’t forget LA with all those draft picks they got when they were in a rebuild were coming up for renewed contracts.
That’s one of the problems when you have a lot of picks if they pan out you have to pay them all at once.
Kings traded away Faber now that’s a worst trade.

Isn't that what being a fan is all about, you are a fan in good times and bad.We haven't had alot to cheer about when it comes to playoffs but so far this regular season has been unbelievable. We should enjoy this incredible ride that the Jets are on because it may never happen again for a long time.

I don't think it has anything to do with Scheif's hands or wrists as his shot hasn't suffered at all and he is not passing any more than usual.
Shoulder or possibly back would be my guess.

I say sit him a week. and slot chibby or Lamby into the lineup.

what's the worst that could happen? we lose 3 games? A rookie forces us to make a big decision about Perfetti or Appleton or Iafallo

This wasn't an injury.

Scheifele started the 2nd period in the penalty box because of the coincidental minors with 1 minute left in the 1st.

He couldn't get out of the box until the next whistle after his penalty expired. But there were no whistles from 19:15 remaining in the period (with 15 seconds left in Scheifele's penalty) until 12:55.

So he was stuck in the box for an extra 6+ minutes, during which time Kupari played up with his wingers for a couple of shifts as Arniel had to shuffle the lines.

Ok I mistakenly thought there had been a whistle.
And everyone on this board is saying he is playing with an injury (faceoffs) so who knows.
When the commentators didn't mention that he missed a shift, wasn't on the bench or something like that. So I figured I was wrong.

We are currently the best team in the NHL and 25% of our forwards are from that trade, all playing meaningful roles. Plus a 2nd round pick.

If you think that’s a bad trade or even an average trade, let’s just agree to disagree.

I'm not following them, I just remember the negative tone and the I can smell a 4 game losing streak comment.
I mean, the team had a 17-4-0 record and had beaten some of the best teams in the league and you think they are about to go on a 4 game losing streak?
It sounded l ike you wanted them to go on a 4 game losing streak to be honest.

I see some speculation on Scheifele on here. I think it's his wrist, but could be hand. I say wrist because when doing faceoffs you need heavy wrist action to snap the puck back between your legs. That would be my guess, as to why he's not performing well.
