"Raising Arizona" -- not to be confused with "razing Arizona", which is what we're going to do this evening -- is one of the earliest movies from the Coen brothers. And even though it's fair to say that it wasn't as good as their piece de resistance, Fargo, you can see the basic pieces being put together for perhaps the first time.
Violence, slapstick, geographically topical laughs. What more does one want in a feature film?
Now, because it's been like decades since I've seen this movie, I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave the follow up to you all. General purpose Coen Brothers references -- I know we got that one "The Dude" poster who's gonna love this -- also welcome. And yeah, I'll probably put this movie up for some pre-game viewing to get me in the mood.
Until then, may the Coyotes offence be too barren for Bettman's seed to take purchase, and if I get a punition for dunking on the Coyotes, may I quickly free myself upon my own recognizances, recidivist that I am
