We have had plenty of time to complain and worry and we will have plenty of time to keep doing so. But for now, let’s celebrate a hard fought division win!

Because I — for one— am soaking up the good vibes before the playoffs begin: WOOOooooOOOOOO!!!

I've said it before, any time they make the playoffs and win the division, I'll happily grab a hat and t-shirt. I saw my Canes miss the playoffs for 9 years straight and Mariners for 20 years straight. I don't take this shit for granted. I mentioned not too long ago, there were people that legit thought we'd never win this division with the markets in it and even in this tough year we did it.

Metro champs for the 3rd straight season, and 31 sellouts. I'd say we're doing something right even if there are plenty of areas to improve. I think it's also good to remember we can be a very successful franchise without winning a Cup, but perennial success is good in more ways than one.

The Discover Central Division is spinning in its grave over this disrespect.

winning the random results post season across every sport has taken over all accomplishments during the regular season.

To get 2nd the the league and first in our division over 82 games is very difficult.

That doesn’t include our trials.

First 21 games we could barely score.
Our 2c had 3 points in that time and we had a -17 goal differential during that time. (We went minus 17 during the last 63 games as well).

Had 2 season ending injuries to the same position.

General mediocre goal tending (outside of December for Pyotr).

Write a TedTalk espousing the virtues of eating at Bojangles every day.

Hello, everyone. Today, I'd like to talk to you about something that's near and dear to my heart: Bojangles. Specifically, I want to talk to you about why I believe it's perfectly okay to eat at Bojangles every day.

Now, I know some of you may be skeptical. You may be thinking, "Isn't that unhealthy? Don't you need a balanced diet?" But hear me out.
First of all, let's talk about the food itself. Bojangles has everything you need to sustain yourself. They've got protein in their fried chicken and sausage biscuits, carbs in their biscuits and fries, and even vegetables in their sides like green beans and coleslaw. And let's not forget about their sweet tea – it's practically a Southern staple.

But it's not just about the nutritional value. It's about the comfort and happiness that Bojangles brings to your life. Imagine starting your day with a warm, flaky biscuit and a hot cup of coffee. Or grabbing a midday snack of Cajun fries and a chicken sandwich. And let's not forget about the joy of a Bojangles box of chicken, biscuits, and fixin's with friends or family.

Now, some of you may still be concerned about the health implications of eating at Bojangles every day. But let me ask you this – what's more important, living a long and boring life, or enjoying the deliciousness of Bojangles every day? I know where I stand on that.

Plus, there are plenty of successful people who eat at Bojangles every day. Athletes, musicians, politicians – you name it. And if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

So in conclusion, I believe that eating at Bojangles every day is not only acceptable but should be celebrated. It brings joy to our lives and fills our stomachs with the deliciousness of Southern cuisine. So go ahead, grab that chicken biscuit, and savor the flavor of Bojangles every day. Thank you.

Quite the team accomplishment.

Lots of teams out there with high scorers and talent who couldn't make the playoffs...Buffalo....Vancouver

But the Canes were a great team.

From the NHL.com article on the game last night:

"Burns became the first defenseman since Scott Niedermayer in 2005-06 to reach 60 points in his first season with the Hurricanes."

Did you guys know Scott Niedermayer was on the '06 team? Why didn't anybody tell me??

But really, I can't even figure out what led them to getting this so wrong. Wrong player, weird sentence, and we didn't have a d-man with 60 points in '06.

I think they are trying to say that Burns is the first d-man to score 60 points in his first season with his new team (Carolina), since Scott Niedermayer, accomplished the same feat in 05-06, with the Anaheim Ducks.

But they worded it terribly.
