Happy it finally is happening, I wonder what changed the voters minds? Is it the loss of the Coyotes?

Roenick was my first fave player (along with Belfour)

He did everything back in the day. He could score, hit and set guys up. He played with his heart on his sleeve. He was great in the playoffs too. He is also the reason why I shoot right.

I was crushed when they traded him to Phoenix. He was another casualty of dollar bill. I wore my 97 Coyotes jersey with pride though.

He was a true heart and soul player.

The HHOF induction is long over due. Congrats, J.R!

ROENICK Eligible for15 years! Thank goodness they finally came to their senses and made him a Hall Of Famer whikecgeis living..Itcwoukdvbe tragic if some former greats pass on before finally getting in...

DATSYUK a no brainertoo!.

With Weber ,you kind of question the inclusion duec to unfortunate career cut short at the end by injury and having to not pkay out contract onLTIR so long...a good Dman but not a slam dunk he should be in the H of F ...in my view.

Happy for him.

Do the Hawks retire his number now? Pat Foley was pushing for it for awhile and Chelios got his

The usual waiting period for 1st time voting eliigibiity iis 3 years but it has been waived several times for certain players in the past...Roenick as I mentioned above waited 15 years before they voted him in.

Good for JR! Glad to see him get it. Surprised they refuse to get Mogilny in though. I don't see why Datsyuk would get in ahead of him tbh.

I'm 2025 Duncan Keith is a first time eligible ...shoukd bea skam dunk.

The Brent Seabrook contract just ended with the close of this season ....on LTIIR with Tampa Bay .So he must wait 3 years before being eligible to get a voting chance to get inducted.. I wonder if he geysxa 2st time votevin or if because of the way hos cobtract fizxledvoutvonLTziR if that means hecwill wait sonectome before they vote him m in..

I am sure that if Toews announces Retirement he may getva waiver on the3 year rule and go in quick on exceptio status..
DITTO whenever Kane announces his Retirement..

Sure, but the Hawks have more or less set a HHOF induction as a requirement to getting a number retired, so probably a safe bet that they'll do so. Not sure why they haven't for Wilson with that in mind, though.
