He's a RFA this summer and Dallas has a handful of players possibly coming off the books.
Klingberg, Pavelski, Radulov, Holtby, Sekera and a few other free agents who may not be back with Dallas next season.
With around $15-20 mil to play with, what number should we expect Robertson's camp to start with? He's been one of the few bright spots in Dallas so far this season.
For reference, Kirill Kaprizov held out and ended up with $9 mil per season.
Would it be too out of range, to expect something around $7.5 mil for Robertson? Or are they going to try and bridge him?
Jake Oettinger's in the same boat, and as the future in goal for Dallas they're going to have to save some room for him too.
You'd think this would make the upcoming trade deadline a clear sign that the Stars should sell, but.....they never make it simple.
