The article in of itself is fairly interesting but the comments are absolute gold. Here's a taste:

I wouldn't trade two beers and a pretzel for Carter. He signed a huge contract and it went to his head. Philly management told him and Richards to get their act together and stop partying and they didn't listen, so good for them. They both got traded. I have to say I chuckled when I heard Carter was traded to Columbus. They should have him driving the zamboni in between periods. Teach that cupcake some humility.

No playoff team is going to disrupt their roster just so they can add a guy whose attitude is questionable and has 10 more years on his contract.

And many more, even some specifically referencing the Kings. Enjoy.

Jeff Carter since joining LA -

Regular Season - 136GP/59G/33A/92P
Playoffs - 64GP/24G/27A/51P

Suck it haters.

And you forgot:

I wonder how much influence Lombardi had in shaping the flyers. Sure he was just a scout, but they seem to be falling apart making terrible trades and signings (Bryz, Lecav), while letting quality get away. Flyers team peaked in (09-10)--four years after he left.

At the very least he kept good tabs/relationships with the players he did like. Bringing them to the Kings, bringing a Cup to LA.

Puck Daddy, and his cronie Lambert, have always had a hate on for the Kings, especially Lambert for Quick. Watching videos on Yahoo when he picked the Kings to win against the Rangers and the cringe worthy look he had announcing it was priceless. The guy is a hack and will always be until he let's his bias down.

Seriously Carter has already cemented legendary status in his short time with the Kings. Crazy.

He surprised the hell out of me these last two years. Never thought he would commit himself to training and leadership as much as he did. Has truly been a great addition to this team. That 70s line is probably going to be one of the most exciting lines to watch next year, especially now that they are clicking together. Pearson and Toffoli are capable of some nasty stuff.

Jeff Carter has seriously grown into the player that people thought he could be under the Kings organization. I can't blame either of Philly or Columbus for him not being that guy. That is on him. We all knew he was that good, but he just needed a place to bring it out of him - and it wasn't going to be either of those places.

Kill, Jeff, Kill. Part of that was tongue in cheek with JJ, but that was so Carter and the only thing that was holding him back - that killer instinct. He's got it now. So now what? One of the best players in the entire league, and totally clutch and not disappearing on Saturdays like Philly fans noticed.

Thinking about Jeff in Columbus made me mad enough to become his fan. On this team only Doughty means more to me.
