Chara on ice for 3 flyer goals says it all. I love chara but his minutes need to be downgraded.

Yeah, I was under the guise that this team could make some noise this year, but these past 10-12 games have really exposed the flaws on this team. The defense can't defend the front of the net. Opposing forwards are getting too many second and third chances. Other teams are having way too much sustained pressure in our zone. There is an inability to make consistently clean breakouts. The forwards are too often one and done in the offensive zone. There is not a lot of puck possession.

There is effort. The team is trying, but they just don't have the horsepower to compete consistently. Too slow. Too inexperienced.

The team is set up nicely for the future, so there should be no selling of assets to make a run this year. We have solid draft picks this summer, and some great prospects in the pipeline. Some vets for a young D-man sounds about right.

The bright spot this year is Spooner. The kid looks really good and gives us a solid group of centers.

Would take a BIG PLUS .Then Bruins would need to be able to sign him.Risky.He would though, change everything on back end.
