Think he has become one of the more value to his current team than to the market prospects.

#7 is obviously out of the picture, any prospect I would be interested in the Nucks have deemed untouchable, not moving him for a 2nd + package so I don't really see a play here.

What forward prospects are Nucks interested in moving?

Demko, Pettersson, Juolevi would be my untouchables here.

For Jake Bean? He's your 3rd best prospect as far as I'm aware. So for discussions sake I'd say we could make any of the obvious available.
So... Goldobin, Dahlen, Lind, Gaudette, Leipsic, DiPietro, Lockwood, Jasek, MacEwen, Gadjovich.
That said, I feel like Gaudette, Dahlen and Lind may be slightly more valuable pieces.

I don't see a fit. We need RHD, not LHD.

Bean is if the target age and skill set van is looking for, interested in everyone but mainly car fans opinion

I don't see a fit for Carolina.

All the pieces worth moving Bean will be out of consideration. To answer your question though...say...Demko.

I'd want Demko, or preferably Pettersson...but you're definitely not giving up Pettersson and the Canes should definitely not accept less than Demko.

That’s a really fair comment, thinking completely objectively (not that I would want to do this) I’d say Gaudette would be fair value. IMO

I personally have been super unimpressed by Bean every time I watch him and offensive Dmen like him are only boom or bust so I'd personally be highly hesitant to give up anything of value for him. Especially considering Car is so deep at D he'll never get a real shot and they'll have to move out a young dman for a reduced price eventually.

I myself am not that interested in Dipietro so I wouldn’t move Bean for him.

Fair enough, value is close though IMO, fills needs for both teams. Gadj is that hard to play against high floor lower ceiling type (hoping he turns into a Wilson) and goalies are a crap shoot but this kid has the mental ability and just seems like he’s a winner.

Bean fills an obvious need for van

No. Thank you.

Bean is a high-quality spec and I'm sure we'd want a high-quality spec im return.

If you want a buy-low Canes D spec who is likely NHL talent, I suggest Trevor Carrick.
Not familiar with carrick, but that is what I’m getting at, van could use some prospect depth at d

After looking him up, and seeing he’s 24 in a month and has played 3 nhl games, he wouldn’t be worth much to us, maybe a change of scenery player for play like haunch for carrick

He's better than those numbers suggest, which is why he's "buy-low." In a less-crowded organization, he'd already be an NHL defender.

What he is, is blocked as **** here behind Slavin, Hanifin, Fleury, and Bean on the LH side. He's often the best defenseman on Charlotte, is an NHL-ready 3rd-pair LHD (who could fill in higher without being awful short-term) who is physical, defensively-sound, average skater and not terrible offensively...but we've had no NHL spot for him. He'll probably be our 7th D next season.
