Well everyone we failed to clinch for the second straight game. We can clinch tonight with a Jackets loss in either regulation or overtime.

Jackets have tons of momentum right now.

Go Michkov!!!

Even an OT win will clinch it for MTL.

MTL is at 89 pts with 29 RW and 37 ROW with 1 game remaining.
CBJ is at 85 pts with 28 RW and 32 ROW with 2 games remaining.

If MTL loses in regulation to CAR tomorrow, CBJ can equal in pts. But they need to win both in regulation in order to have the tiebreaker. If they win one in OT, they won't be able to pass MTL in RWs. If they match in pts and and RWs, MTL clinches because the second tie breaker is ROW.

Now they play PHI tonight and NYI on Thursday. So it's possible they win both in regulation. But we'll see.

Jackets will blow Philthy out of the water, Habs will have to clinch on their own and show they deserve to make the playoffs. Time to man up and stop waiting for other teams do to their job for them.
Agreed....but Ill take whatever we can get at this point. I want to see this team in the playoffs. Desperately. And......I want more than two games of Demidov before the off-season.

This is what I wrote in Playoff Positivity thread:

Like Chicago, Flyers are playing hard & having fun. They're 5-3-2 in last 10 & and are slightly above .500 at home. Since kicking Torts to the curb, Flyers have actually gone 5-1-1 and have won their last 4 home games.

Columbus is still well below .500 on the road (13-23-4). They've gone 3-7-0 in their last 10 road games. With the exception of the Washington game on Sunday, the majority of their winning streak has been at home. The Caps out played Columbus on Sunday, but Lindgren has decided to shit the bed late for Washington, while Columbus got excellent net minding from Greaves.

A win in Philadelphia is definitely not a sure thing for Columbus. If the game is tied late, Columbus will have to strongly consider pulling the goalie like Philadelphia was forced to last season.

If this game goes to OT, Montreal clinches.

I don't see Columbus losing at home to the Islanders if that game ends up being important.
I also don't see this game as a cake walk for the Blue Jackets.
One thing is for sure...we will all be scoreboard watching tonight.

Nothing like doubling your money every game. I'm at a point now don't want to go all in lol.

I can't explain it but I'm very convinced Montreal will play better vs Carolina if Columbus doesn't win in regulation tonight.

Would be fun to see our young, highly skilled lineup play the last game of the season at home without immense pressure.
