Player Discussion Jack Quinn, RW (8th overall, 2020): Named AHL Rookie of the Year

Shoulda got one game in
Calm down. I didn't present it as fact. The speculation comes from their on ice demeanor. Could you blame either if they were frustrated with their position?

And what if their demeanour makes you think they’re mad they’re in Rochester instead of Buffalo?

I wouldn’t blame them if they are mad. But they should use that to guarantee they are in Buffalo next season. And if they throw a fit that they’re not this season, then they can f*** right off.

They're both scoring but hasn't Rochester had some issues with playing well in all zones?

I see they're both minus players at even strength which would support this, but i'll let someone who watches confirm or refute.

Either way, it seems like if there was an attitude issue, Adams giving in would be going against the direction the team is trying to go

This is just pure speculation that there is even a problem. It's based on irresponsible speculation with no basis in fact.

The fact that Adams mentioned how happy Fitz, Sammy, and Krebs were to all be able to play in the AHL playoffs (if the Amerks make it) makes me think no one thinks it's a bad thing playing down there, The Amerks culture seems as strong and fun as the Sabres one these days.

It seems like throwing random doom out there because of how JJ chooses to make his celly's as drole as possible because of this -

JJ's been doing all sorts of "no big deal" stuff all season. This one seems to have made doom-seekers think there is an issue.

It's how happy those guys have been and how they have pulled for one another even before that. Think of Scarfo, Sammy and the others coming up for Quinn's debut.

Also, here we have them both out early to work in practice today -

Also, there is Peterka sheathing the cue again on another goal -

It's what he does. It's part of what drives opponents nuts because he acts like he's done it before.

He’ll still never top that dude that scored the shootout winner and then just skated off the ice back to the locker room.

Here we have JJ doing the sheathing the sword thing and him and Quinn both jubilant:

That's from earlier this month. I don't think either are all that chapped right now.

I post enough here for anyone paying attention that I'm no gloom or doom guy.
Speculation is kinda the name of the game here on hockey's future boards so that's probably not going away.
Also, the notion that anyone would tell these prospects to f*** off is pretty ridiculous. Really all the silly shaming is pretty ridiculous too but you all do you.
Man take it easy people.

There was a tweet from someone claiming it was Peterka annoyed when he did a tired sheath-the-blade after a goal in a game he was on the ice almost every other shift because it fit that tweeter's claim that not having spaces for either would cause this very thing to happen.

Lol we really gotta make drama even when things go well, huh?

These dudes are lighting up the Ahl and they actually have something to play for, why would they be mad? They know they’ll be up next year. They get a chance to be all-stars, refine the little things, and gain playoff experience. Why the f*** would 12 minutes of ice on a non-playoff team be better? Slight bit of experience at the higher level, sure, but they’ll get 82 games of that next year. Even an absolute Botterill could explain that to them were they actually frustrated at all, what a weird concern.

Okay, but in the real world, they can be as bitchy as they want. The top guys are making the team next year regardless of how they handle this stint. I'm not saying it's fair, but Quinn could moon a group of elderly Rotary Club members at the next game and I'd still assume he's playing next year alongside Krebs in Buffalo from day one.
