Not enough interest to get his name remotely correct it appears.
In any case, i'd say Willander is the one futures piece in Vancouver that is pretty close to "untouchable". Especially not in a deal for a guy like Quinn who is closer to a gamble on a "change of scenery" candidate than some sort of top tier blue chip impact difference-maker piece at this point.
But yeah...i don't think there's much the Canucks have that makes a lot of sense to Buffalo. Sabres are kind of tough for anyone to trade with right now though. Because they clearly want to get better
now...so most futures pieces aren't going to be of interest, but old players probably don't move the needle either. Yet they're also potentially looking to trade the sort of young players with potential like Cozens and Quinn that typically net a futures deal, or are part of a deal for an older established player. Where it seems like Buffalo are trying to just swap their young players with upside for...
different young players with upside who are better, or have some different styles or traits to offer.
I think any interest Canucks would have in Quinn would be contingent on Boeser being moved though. As a younger "replacement". Which...who knows what the return on that might be, but it could certainly include something that might be of interest to the Sabres.
