Is there proof other than this tweet, and which team would Singh be doing regional broadcasts for? Vancouver and Calgary are pretty much set. Unless it's a SN broadcast for the Jets maybe?

I’ve not heard anything so who knows but I’ll hang my hat on hope. I don’t care what team he does as long as it’s not ours.

Drew Remenda was rightfully run out of town for favouring San Jose when working on our broadcasts. Outside of those Sharks games his commentary towards the Oilers was fine, especially in his final year when there was enough noise to alert him that fans had a problem with it. Louie DeBrusk’s broadcasts have consistently gotten more negative towards the Oilers every year since he’s come back, it doesn’t matter who they are playing against. He’s significantly worse than Remenda was. I don’t get how he’s being brought back.

I watch sports on mute now. Then I just listen to music or a podcast if I want something else for auditory listening.

I don't find a broadcast on TV ads much to a game experience over in person.
