Samo is the better prospect. He has much better tools. I'm not saying Devine can't become a great player too. But let's not forget Samo was buried behind a lot of magnificent talent at Michigan. When he was there that's when Power, Fantilli, etc. we're there, Michigan was an absolute powerhouse.

But was Samo playing down the lineup, or was he on a line with those other star players? If its the former I see your point. If its the latter though.. wouldn't that help his production more than anything?

Yeah he was playing down the lineup. He was on the 3rd line his freshman year, and I think 2nd line his sophomore year .

my 7yo. my 10yo was looking over my shoulder the other day and said "you need an avatar. let's get judah with the stanley cup!" hadn't noticed that my crazy mo avatar had disappeared in the big crash so i let big bro put a pic of his little brother with the stanley cup. his little bro has something called lissencephaly (the smooth brain thing people joke about..) and goes to perkins school for the blind. he couldn't be bothered to wake up from his nap to pay homage to lord stanley's hardware.

well, when my 10yo was younger, he was a full-on Bs fan and that's his hand-me-down.

we follow the Bs, too but even my wife asked "do i have to root for the panthers now that they have marchand?" i'm hoping there's a little boston/marchy/cup juju in the picture that'll bleed out into the universe before i let crazy mo come back.
