Opening up a new can of soup.
Anyway, with contract discussions up in the air it would be great to see him sign for another 3 years or so and I could see the dollar amount falling somewhere between $4 and $4.5 million with $4.25 million being a nice comfy number for all.
Question is how do we shuffle the cap to make things work. At the moment Rielly is due a $2.5 million raise, $1.2 will come from Kessel and $1.3 could be covered by the entire cap increase. Campbell is at $1.6. So we would need to basically get rid or Kerfoot to comfortably make that happen and replace him with an ELC forward. Or maybe a bigger shakeup with Muzzin and Holl could save us some cap.
