If I had one word to describe the Finns' game now, it would be disinterested. They are playing slow and soft hockey against Canada of all nations...

Killinen managed to lose the puck 3 times in 10 seconds. Man he's awful. Really awful. Thanks for allowing me to dedicate a post to how bad he's playing. Like clockwork, after he touches the puck, it's on a Canadian's stick. 8 times this period now I think. And I'm sure I've missed some.

While Finland team looks so sloppy, lazy and uninterested. So hard to point out one player. Doesn't look close to the same team that played last night.

Finlands PP is hands down one of the worst I've ever witnessed. Haven't gotten anything going and having trouble getting out of their own zone. Couldn't get offensive possession on 5 on 3...

Finns are way too arrogant. Trying to deke and dangle through every canadian player. Coaches need to bring them back to basic play of hockey after this game. Every player has been equally bad.

Playing dominant hockey against Slovakia can be misleading. Its 3-0 now, so the question is how high will the Canadians run up the score?

Kupari just tried to deke the whole canadian team twice and it resulted a breakaway for canada.

It's not like Canada is playing too well either. 5vs5 game is just a mess of a neutral zone turnovers. All their goals have come from powerplays.

It's that PP unit of the plug 4-liners. I don't know what the coach has been watching. But that's a free 1min off the clock whenever they are on the ice.

Yep, still that team looked so much more energetic than this one. They're just playing so slow and nonchalant.

It is a bit frustrating to see that the Canadians don't really have to even try very hard. The Finns are making it easy for them.

Not just that. They can't even make simple passes. It's not like Canada's playing all that magnificently themselves. Finland's mostly just playing awful hockey.

Not impressed by the USA so far. The czech looked more dangerous yesterday. With a bit more fortune Switzerland could be very well in front after 40.

Nussbaumer keeps impressing me. Quick, smart, skilled, energetic, the best swiss in the corners.

Gerber looks good as well.

Note to TEAM USA officials : Stop showing up to this gun fight with a knife already

Why have high end tournament in the middle of summer and risk injury not being in game shape.

Why not give others international experience.

See the many comments above about awful hockey... well it's summer

Aaltonen demoted and replaced by Maccelli, which is a bit of an odd choice. At the very least, it is Killinen who should have been demoted. But I don't even think that Aaltonen has been worse than Maccelli.

How do you even allow a breakaway on PK off a neutral situation?

Iivari Räsänen continues being awful, as I mentioned earlier. The D as a whole is a complete disaster.

It's always hard to pick the worst D for a game like this, but it probably is #5 who again took a penalty.

If Iivari Räsänen is anywhere near the u-18 WHC team we're doomed.

At least Kupari got another point.

Kupari on his way to tournament MVP if he continues to rack up the points like this.

Still puzzling how Killinen clings onto a top 6 spot, especially next to the best player of the team. He constantly lost the puck to the opposition whenever he touched it and the PP unit he's on plays like it's even strength. You literally cannot tell the team's on PP while that unit's on the ice.

And while Kupari's got 6 points, Killinen seems to only have a secondary assist on one goal, and I cannot even tell if it's warranted because the camera angles are, as usual, ass tier and I don't see him ever actually touch the puck.
