His shot is weak by NHL standards and he need to be more explosive. Needs to learn how to play defense. Still a lot of room to improve.

There were a few size fetishists in the commentary and pundit space who insisted Lindstrom has the better profile for the Habs.

Of course it’s all in the past now.

Among us amateur amateurs, I didn’t figure Demidov would drop either. By draft day I was into Silayev or Sennecke. Wanted nothing to do with Lindstrom or Iginla. Had a soft spot for Catton.

Demidov is a special prospect and puts into perspective how much talent shines through. Hutson, Demidov you know it when you see it.

I know that this is a Demigod thread but anyone not wonder what it would have been like to have both Demidov and Michkov? After seeing Michkov this year and now demidov, one can only wonder what that could have been.

After the 4v4, the PP1 looked great when Demidov stayed on. It was Caufield who was missing.

Look at how badly our D did this year. As it is we have only two right shot D in the lineup and one is Davis Savard.

I get wanting Mich but RB is going to help us so much in an area we badly need it. He won’t have the sizzle of Michkov but that’s okay. You can’t always get what you want but Reinbacher is what we needed.

So Im annoyed with MSL over Xhekaj, but MSL is the guy for developing Demidov. MSL will encourage the guy to play and excel with his game, accept mistakes , but then start being more demanding on playing the sytem correctly and playing a solid overall game.

In contrast. MT: Demidov, ⁹ we dont play dat eRussian game here. Nort and Sout, if you cant see a net change direction you being a fancy boy. We grind here.
