Who is going tonplay D on that line? Man we really need another decent center...would Evans be up for the task? You need someone that can back check and he does have some offensive awareness...every play dies on Newhook's stick lately. Hmmmm notbsure that works with the ripple effect on the lineup.
Newhooks actually been playing great, he can do definitely the lifting defensively. Not a checking line to be sure, but should be fun at least lol

This seriously had me in the best mood all day. Adding the elite skill that Demidov possesses is only going to help this team and their depth.

I have to admit it, I was a little annoyed when Hughes didn’t sell at the deadline (at least some of the UFAs anyway) but Nick Suzuki put his money where his mouth was and carried this team on his back into the playoffs. He has been everywhere doing everything for this team. Now they’re rewarded with what is likely going to be a playoff spot, and reinforcements like Demidov to help shoulder some of the offensive load??? Cinderella stuff right here.

Welcome to Montreal, Bienvenue a Montreal young man. Let’s hope you have a long and illustrious career here.

Fowler, Demidov, Slafkovsky, Guhle, Hutson, Suzuki, Caufield… the future is bright in Habsland and thank God for it, it’s been far too long.

So, what is the rule that allows him to play in the playoffs, since he wasn't on our roster after the trade deadline?

There's a good chance he's going to play on the fourth line in his first game.

He shouldn't play with Newhook and Laine,
