Ideally we get him at least a week of games before the playoffs to get adjusted to our system and the NHL. Then he can watch tape and get ready for the playoffs. We may have to temper our expectations a bit though. I'm not saying he won't have an immediate impact but at the same time he may have to adjust a bit to the level of play of the NHL , especially if he plays in the playoffs which are generally more intense. Assuming we make it of course
Then again he's a ultra talented blue chip so who knows. He's certainly equipped with the skillset to do some damage especially on the PP.
Exciting time folks !!
Well said, cheers!!Congrats guys! This is exciting for all fans of skilled hockey players. As a leaf fan having Montreal in the playoffs just makes it more exciting. Like yanks/Red Sox. They can hate each other but it’s much more fun to witness

Ahem... im burying the hatchet lol
I am happy, they still suck and like 99.9% of them are frauds. Can’t you be just happy for a freaking minute?
Guarantee the ratings in both English and French Canada would be high!If he makes his debut on HNIC vs the Leafs, oooh my
He pretty much said that there’s a way to address teaching and developing in the KHL. That he needed to show he could live through those Things and earn it.Weird to say this then mess with the ice time all year but happy he seems positive about him
I hope the servers are strong enough. If he makes his debut on HNIC vs the Leafs, oooh my
Temper expectations; one should not expect much from a player, facing language and system barriers, in his first NHL game.
Give him four weeks or so.
Very well could be he's been told from those above him to do what he can to keep him.Was a nice interview by Rotenberg

The Bell Centre is going to go bonkers when this kid gets on the ice!!!!!!!Playoff hockey in Centre Bell with Demidov will be electrifying. No doubt about it.
