So we'll know if they send him down if they officially announce it. Or if he's in the line-up on Thursday for Game 1 of their series vs. Khinmik.

Untill then, it's all over the place. One moment we're hopeful. The next moment we get cold water thrown on it all. Then we get some hints of hope.

Since SKA have not officially assigned Demidov to the VHL, that gives us a glimmer of hope.
The game is on Thursday, they should've assigned him by now.

It does remind me crazy trade rumours on HF back in the day. Hossa at the deadline. Lecavalier being traded to Montreal. Sundin & Vanek to Montreal (both those happened too).

He won’t sit him if he somehow signs. I expect he’ll play on the 2nd line right away:

Anderson-Dvorak-Gallagher
Armia-Evans-Heineman

I’d expect Pezzetta and Kapanen to sit (maybe Heineman if he’s still injured).
