Basically, it's just a rehash of what has been said, that SKA wants to show their development model works, and that they want to win a trophy at other levels to make up for the disappointment in the KHL season. It said that Demidov's camp will explore options for a release to get him to the NHL, including exploring legal or procedural avenues.

Demidov playing well in the NHL playoffs would prove SKA's development model a lot more than Demidov dominating against weak competition in the MHL/VHL to win a cup.
