For me its 1996-1997. Mark Recchi was my first favorite player I ever had.

Those rosters I've witnessed after that were beyond terrible...

Sooner than later, player born in 2000 will play in the NHL.

I know its just normal, its life, but sometimes when you take a second to think about it, passed many days, weeks, feelings, accomplishments since then... and its been not that long when you think about it.

I'm sure some fellow Habs fans are with me when like the Habs played Carolina in 2005-2006... Doesn't seems like it was a while back.

Then I came to the realization:

Sidney Crosby is in currently in the 10th NHL season of his career.

He's 27.

Don't worry because soon enough McDavid will be in his 10th season and Crosby in his 21st and everyone will be talking about this Steven Hockey kid from Cole Harbour who's even better than both of them combined.

It's also weird to think that this month marks my 10th anniversary of being on HF. I was 14. Much has changed, but HF is a constant.
