These are my predictions for playoff seeding :

8. Ottawa

I care. Playoffs are really fun no matter the opponent, but I will certainly enjoy more eliminating the Laughs than whoever else we could face.

Probably going to be an epic series if we face them.

I think we have to play to our strengths - namely speed, puck possession, and active d.

I think you put the puck into the corners and use your speed to hound the Leafs D. Might take a few big hits but Fraser, Phaneuf, Franson, O Byrne, all have been prone to giveaways under pressure. I think over 6-7 games we can wear them down.

I think it's a mistake to try to match their physicality or play defensive. Certainly, we need to answer the bell when appropriate and take advantage of opportunities to put hits on Kadri, Lupul, Kessel, etc.

Basically, this.

Leafs are riding a wave of hot air. Their main accomplishment against us last game was shooting the puck towards the net. If Price shows to stop it, we can beat them. Easily.

Not the team I wanted to face but whatever, I don't think we match up well against them and don't really ant to face them. Going to be a really long summer if we lose to them!!
