I constantly forget he doesn’t play in Buffalo anymore and that he’s still in the league playing somewhere that isn’t in Buffalo.

He was probably the longest tenured 4th line guy to play for the same team for that many years in a very long time.

Nichushkin had 0 goals and 10 assists in 57 games in 18-19 and now hes a lock for 30+ goal pace when healthy.

I feel for him. Liked the signing when it happened. Reluctant to call him bad because he still knows how to defend and puts his body on the line, but it's rough, no way around it. Still kills penalties and is kinda physical but there comes a point you have to look at sitting him. Really hope he puts one in soon, there was a time back in the day where I thought this guy would turn into a mainstay reliable middle sixer, jack of all trades type.

I remember he made that All Star Game when he was with Buffalo and thought the same. I like him and was hoping he got on the score sheet more for Tampa Bay, but just hasn't been the case.

There's a better chance of being struck by lightning than Zemgus ever having that kind of season. He's 31.
