PP - For brief moment Barzal occupied the area below the goal line, where he belongs, and it looked good. Either he and/or Roy is not smart enough to figure that out so nothing will change. Cholowski hasn't been bad on the 2nd unit but he was terrible last night.

Duclair should be given the day off today. He is struggling physically. Great to see him score as he is gutting it out.

With about 4 minutes left in period one, they had a combined 5 shots. Let's get with the tank already.

JGP got his ass kicked last night. Conversely. Romanov was a beast. The reverse hit was my favorite.

If Roy replaces Gatcomb, or really anybody in the current line-up, with Fasching, it will lead me to seriously question his ability to lead this team.

Quick Observation. I think we have a player in George. Butchie also mentioned how he got off a shot from the point skating laterally, walking the line and changing his shot angle to get it through. He is no Makar or Q Hughes who do it better than anyone on the planet. Going to be interesting to watch him moving forward and putting on some weight and gaining some man strength.
