i was there and can confirm what he said about the kids. Ho-sang had a breathtaking coast to coast attempt, and even though he didn't score i thought it was the highlight of the night.

Exactly. How hard are the veterans pushing right now? They aren't for the most part. How many lineups are actual NHL quality right now? Not many. It's great to see the kids do well now, but when the season gets going, the veterans show up and play. Every team is better than the ones they are currently facing in the pre-season. Then come the end of the season you'll see veterans ramp it up even more as they get set for the playoffs. It's a lot to ask a young kid not used to playing that many games to maintain a high level of play over the duration of the season, especially when they have glaring holes in their game. Not saying it's impossible, but I trust and know what I'm getting out of guys like Kulemin and Bailey all year (even if it's frustrating), and the young kids could be much worse than those guys when it matters most. It's a big risk to put too many of them in the lineup.
My god this excites me. Thanks for posting!

He looks like he's playing shinny hockey at some public rink on a random Tuesday night at midnight....especially with the picture quality. Like when some guy invites a young Jr A/OHL player to pick-up hockey and he has ONE SHIFT where he turns-it-up.
Curious to see how he does in the AHL.
I really feel he is going to torch that league. The players are bigger but slower.
I made a beginning of the year hot taek that Ho-Sang could make the team over Barzal. Practically, it makes more sense to throw him down and give barzal the 9 if you can but I think ho-Sang will be a PPG player in the A, think we saw him for more than a cup of coffee this year.
