Truly a tale of two different teams.

On the one hand, you’ve got a team that’s been struggling of late. Young offensive talent performing disappearing acts at random intervals, goaltending that could be the savior one game and the goat the next, and a coach that doesn’t seem to know exactly how to address the issues that have plagued his team. Recent games have seen this team allow a late 3rd period goal to a divisional rival to lose in regulation, and another had them losing almost singlehandedly to Alexander Ovechkin.

Now, the OTHER team...pretty much the exact same thing, actually.

Scoring more AND allowing fewer goals seems like you're asking a lot. I'm just hoping for one or the other.

I started the thread because I found it funny how similar the two teams are. Both start off the season well, both have struggled of late.

We lost 2-0 to basically OV a few days ago, they blew a 4-1 lead to basically OV today. We allowed Columbus to score with a minute and a half to lose the game, and literally that same night, the Islanders allowed NYR to score with 34 seconds remaining to lose the game.

Hence the Spiderman meme. But hey, don't let me get in the way of your judgement.
