Can't think of any other team, maybe the Sovjets, but no....
I have never seen a team dominate like this.....

Considering this Canadian team would not be able to play in the NHL due too being waaaaaaay above the salary cap its for sure on of the better teams in recent years. If you count player by player they are better then most, if not all NHL teams. If I remember correctly most teams during the NHL lockout was pretty stacked aswell, but im to lazy to find the rosters, but im sure they are out there somewhere.
And its its hard to compare with the old Soviet teams that dominated hockey for so many years. But i think i have to give it to the 70's Soviet teams.
I was bored so I checked the Worlds between 1970-1990. The Soviets won all 10 games in 1973 (100GF-18GA), 1975 (90-23), 1986 (50-15) and 1989 (47-16 ).
After the Olympics and then this, I think the myth that Canada cannot play on the European ice is dead. They outskated and out-skilled everyone they faced.
Havent seen Canada ice a better team in a long time.

This team would win the Olympics
Sochi?
Imagine this team + Keith, Weber, Pietrangelo, Doughty, etc.

I tend to agree. High skilled players shines on the larger rinks. Slow brutes does not. And there is no doubt that this Canadian team have some really good players.uh I'd say that Canada plays better on european ice. you're just stubborn to change it.
