I think that Freud would have agreed with this, because you have players competing to put the "puck" into the "net", so that they can "score" (no comment required). Not only that, they end up having a playoff competition for who wins the "cup" at the end (the concept of the "cup" being a symbol for the female uterus is what "The Da Vinci Code" was all about). This also explains why the game has an overwhelmingly male fan base.

Anyone study this kind of stuff in college? Agree/disagree?
