On the main boards there is a thread asking if Michael Bunting intentionally kicked Trent Frederic. This wasn't noticed or brought up during the game by Chris Cuthbert and Craig Simpson, however all the Leafs haters are calling on Bunting to be suspended.

Here is the kick which they are referring to.

Now considering that last season when playing Tampa Bay there was a game when Marner got kicked by Nikita Kucherov and he wasn't fined or suspended. So, based on this example why should anything happen to Bunting?

The league has some serious issue if some innocuous kick needs more disciplining than say a cross check to the head or neck.

I think it deserves a fine not more than that.

I’m sure they’ll look at it. Not sure if it’s intentional or not, but it could go either way. Guess it just depends on how the powers that be interpret the play

I'm going to assume that Bunting won't be suspended because usually the NHL Player Safety Twitter account would have posted something about a hearing early the next morning after a game and at 3:22 PM that hasn't happened.

George Parros maybe horrible at his job, however since he didn't suspended Kucherov for kicking Marner, there is no way he could have done that to Bunting.
