Honestly I dont. Just hope he can be a great player for us for a long time. If he does he will probably be HOF worthy. Whether he would be generational isnt something that really matters to me.

He scored 100 points last season and is on pace for a historic season. He's currently leading the Art Ross race. Why doesn't Kucherov get recognition as a generational player in the NHL?

No he’s not

Even a guy like Ovy is borderline generational. He’s a generational scorer for sure, but overall it’s debatable. He had some bad seasons (under ppg) that hurt his generational player status.

Same with Malkin, borderline generational

Only Crosby & Mcdavid are undisputed generational players in my book
