I’m curious about whether the appropriate abbreviation of “would have” is “would’ve” or “would of.”

No, I don’t have anything better to do.

Clearly.

BTW, I think you can look up such queries on something called Google. Bing too, I believe.

One of my pet peeves. Grammar police here.

#MeToo

Would of, could of, should of.

It’s hot urine in my eyes.

It is? What happened?

Hope you're okay. :)

It’s also should have, not should of.

Should've too.
Just between you and I, I actually don’t need to look it up. I’m just looking to sit back and read the opinions of my HF brothers and sisters. :)

My, you are bored.

PS "Just between you and me."

And, supposedly, "(Insert name here) and I" is now verboten.

As in, "Joe Flacco and I are going to the concession concourse at TD Garden to pick up a couple of beers and hot dogs tonight before heading down to our seats.

"An even hundred each should do it."

I’m a grammar snob.

The grammar in some of the posts on this site, especially the lack of punctuation, makes me want to rip my own eyes out at times.

You should of done it, man.

That would of been funny.
