I am actually a descendent of the Earl of Sandwich and as the authority of proper Sandwich aggregation the family has declared a proper Sandwich is thus,

No exceptions. We do not ascribe to the ridiculous Mediterranean notions of wrap sandwiches as there is unacceptable bread overlapage. Therefore I do not accept your definition of a Sandwich as it is not a Sandwich proper. I will however admit, if you were to put a piece of chicken between two solitary breadcrumbs, this could constitute a Sandwich.
