Do you think he is going in?

His career is winding down but his production is still great, he should hit 1k career points this year and has a very good chance at 500 career goals.

Obviously the big mark against him is lack of team success or individual success but his numbers are great in the playoffs two very deep runs that just couldn't finish the deal.

I understand why you would say no and if so what more would he have to do in your eyes to get in? Does a cup win do it?

Things get silly now with the weird hall of fame "standards"

No, and not close. Not a single season above ppg.

There's a ton of players who won't make the hall of fame who I'd put in before Pavelski

No. Really good player but just doesn’t have the highs either individually or team, and there’s better players not in. He’s a guy who I could see making it if he was a big part of a “modern dynasty” or if he managed to push his career numbers up high, but the Sharks were seen as disappointing in the playoffs and he’s going to take heat for that, and his peak was in a low scoring era, where he was still under 80 points despite being top 10 in scoring, so it doesn’t look as good on paper. He does have final runs of 14 and 13 goals and if he rolled off a cup with Dallas with a Smythe to end his career, he might get some discussion but even then I doubt it.

500 goals and 1000 points used to be sort of the lock benchmark to get in but that seems to have faded away now.

I agree he a long shot for sure but he could actually push 500 goals, 1100 points and maybe even 150 points.

Seeing guys like Alfie and the Sedins get in now I think the door just slightly open

If he gets in, I wouldn't be surprised, the HOF has much less deserving players in it. Voted no, just because more seeming locks have been passed on for the hall over the years.

I agree but he is making it very interesting.

Sure but Alfie and the Sedins had much higher highs and that matters.

I can't understand why some posters post questions like this, asking if player A/B/C should make the HHOF, when CLEARLY he shouldn't get a sniff. Bizarre.
Pavelski right now sits at the 110th place in all time points with 430+513=943 points. He's outside of the Hall of fame if he retired right now. But in his last 82 regular season games Pavelski has put up 90 points. That's elite numbers, especially for someone who just turned 38. He still has a chance to add a lot to his totals. If he stays healthy for the rest of the year he'll pass 1000 points which will increase his chances. And even a declining Pavelski will most likely surpass 1100 career points and 500 career goals before his career is over. Like it or not, Pavelski is entering the Hall of fame conversation with the way he's playing...

Classic Hall of Very Good player.

500 goals is also not a lock just yet. He's 38. 70 more goals is nothing to sneeze at.

Ehhh im not sure on him, I honestly do not know.

Quiet career for sure not really noticable

But still a very good player,

If he hits 1k points? Maybe

Porbably not but it wouldnt bother me either way to be honest.

I feel like posters on here get so easily offended about the idea of certain players in the HoF.

if he gets 500 goals and 1k points id say yes, but if he hits neither of those bench marks, then no
