Player A takes FGA, it fails to go in and Player A grabs thr subsequent rebound. Is he in fact credited with a rebound?

Yup - and there have been a few times when NBA players have intentionally missed an easy shot just to grab the rebound in order to get a triple-double or to pad their rebound numbers. I remember Antetokounmpo doing it a few years ago to get a triple-double but the league took away his rebound the next day.

Great. Thanks.

Have been getting a lot of wnba videos in my YouTube feed and Reese came up a lot and a joke often made is "mebounds".
Got me.curious about the rules around awarding them

It doesn't happen a lot but Antetokounmpo was stupid about it and made it look really obvious. :thumbd:
