IR+: DTD Question

In my Yahoo league.... Can a player that is listed DTD be placed on IR+, then left there after he's no longer listed DTD?

I know you can do this with the standard IR spot but I remember being prompted to reactivate my player off IR+. Or is my mind playing tricks?

My reasoning: I would like to put Drouin (DTD) on IR+ and activate Huberdeau from IR, who's been rotting there and playing awesome. I don't want to drop any of my other players and would rather Drouin rot there instead. Given my injury history, my goal is to just alternate injured players without having to go to FA, which isn't preferred since I'm in a deep league.

What likely happens if this works is that I just delay the inevitable and pick a player to drop. Just seeing if I can avoid that for a bit.

Yeah, you could, but some leagues have rules that you can't keep a player that is off IR in an IR spot. If you have a player in an IR spot that is no longer on IR, you cannot add a player, which is so dumb.

Not sure why Yahoo is still a thing.... awful.. Much better fantasy sites out there. Will not be entering another.

This prevents adding players to illegal lineups.

Yeah agreed, why should anyone be allowed to hoard an IR player who is no longer hurt? Ruins the fun
