According to TSN, there will be 4 interleague games this coming season. Ottawa will play a home and home with Gatineau and Sudbury will play a home and home with Rouyn Noranda. What's everyone's take on this, the games will be played under QMJHL rules which means if there's a fight the players will be ejected.

I wonder if there was also a proposal for North Bay and V'al D'or to play each other? If not, seems strange that it would be Sudbury and not North Bay who is playing Rouyn Noranda, as North Bay is the closer opponent.

Inter-league games aren't at all uncommon for the OHL & QMJHL. Ottawa and Gatineau used to do at least 2 of them a season at one point, typically pre-season and regular season so to see that again happen isn't uncommon same with Sudbury and Rouyn-Noranda in pre-season.

As for the rule on fighting I think it would be a the discretion of the host league's rules. For example last seasons Memorial Cup had used QMJHL rules for fighting as the host city was the Rimouski Oceanic so I would imagine that this type of ruling would be very much still in play.

If it's in Ontario it's the OHL's 3 fight limit if it's in Quebec then it's banned entirely.
