WJC: Injury report

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Always a bunch of injuries happening ahead of the tournament. Let's list 'em:

Canada
LW Alex Formenton (2017, 47th OTT) - Knee injury, out of the tournament.

Czech Republic
LW/RW Filip Zadina (2018, 6th, DET) - Lower body injury in last night's AHL game. Will not travel with CZE team to begin with.

Finland
RW Niklas Nordgren (2018, 74th, CHI) - Upper body injury, not traveling with Finland to Canada. Might join later.

Sweden
D Timothy Liljegren (2017, 17th, TOR) - High ankle sprain, listed week-to-week.

To bad to see all these injuries. Zadina from the Czechs would be a big loss though if he can't play.
