If we play to our potential, which we have not (not even close), we'll win the series, but for another unlucky bounce. PK said we hadn't played our best hockey before gm4. We still haven't. There are a couple of players that absolutely have to raise their games and I don't even need to mention who (and no, not DD).

Made me laugh with this gif, but iy's the same kind of desperation/heart some of our players need to have for a comeback.

And, in all seriousness...that was a classic scene from Officer and a Gentleman...classic Richard Gere movie.

P.S.: forget about 3 in a row...all about Tuesday...and next 2 of 3 in Mtl (bonus).

You are probably the only other guy who knew what movie this is from :(

Haha!! I'm a major movie buff!! An Officer and a Gentleman is a classic imo (Lou Gossett Jr and Gere were solid in it, as well as the other main actors). Richard Gere was also good in The American Gigolo. Funny...Gere plays a ''GQ'' gigolo (80s) and then later (90s?) plays a rich businessman (in Pretty Woman) who meets/dates a female gigolo (aka escort, prostitute, etc).
That scene/gif you showed was one of the most intense scenes in the film...classic scene...thanks for that! (if our Habs can show 1/3 of that kind of desperation/heart/guts/patience that Gere's character showed in that scene...we might have a chance for a major comeback).

Go Habs Go!! (even though I was pretty depressed after that MSL goal...still here!! still going to hope...a bit! *gulp*).

Cheers!!

I'm absolutely not worried about PK Subban and Gallagher...huge huge hearts...these guys are REAL WINNERS. It's a few of the other players that I'm worried about (consistency with effort or complete lack of it, heart or no heart?,etc).

Subban and Gallagher should be inspiring the others...I hope they will for Tues.

Wish we had another Subban and another Gallagher!!
(but we should be so darn happy Subbie and Gallagher are wearing the CH).

We will win this series.

Just wanted to quote this...in case!;)

Like everyone else here...really thought it should/could have been 2-2 in the series (Galchenyuk crossbar with 3 min. left, but nothing was guaranteed since there was 3 min. left, etc, etc).

Need to make it 2-3 in the series and then we can talk...

Go Tokarski Go!!
Go Habs Go!!
Go health Go!!

Yup...that, and more...

Looked (not 100% sure though) like Weise was slightly losing his balance after the hit and Subban came to hold him or be used as a stand...to prevent Weise from skating unbalanced or groggy...Subbie let Weise regain his balance, etc. Of course I could be wrong...'cause it also looked like Weise was looking for Moore to say/yell something at him when Subbie came to help Weise and also calm him since we had a 5min. penalty coming up,etc...

Subban:handclap::yo:
Weise (glad he's ok :handclap:)
