I tried an A&W beyond meat burger once. It tasted like garbage and is way less healthy than a normal burger. Pretty much the worst of both worlds.

I’ve had Beyond and Impossible at more upscale diners. Both were awesome IMO. I’d probably enjoy it less from a fast food joint... quality of ingredients ultimately matters.

As to the health aspect, the sodium and saturated fat content are a little concerning, but zero cholesterol and fiber are pluses. Most doctors would probably steer you towards the plant-based. We know what red meat does to us.

The Impossible Burger tastes exactly like the Whopper. It is quite freaky. Of course, both will cause your body to blow up into obesity and washing yourself with a rag on a stick and the Impossible Burger is two to three times of the price of a regular Whopper, so it seems rather pointless.
