I'll be at the game tonight. Liqour will be drank. Tears will be shed.

Heres to you Johnny 🍻
I don't know what best way to show our love as a city to the Gaudreaus... I have no doubt "Johnny/Matty" or "Thank you" or "Gaudreau" chants will happens in the Dome. I do think we will communicate to the Gaudreau clan that as much relationship and love as we had for Johnny, we were also exceptionally lucky enough to have had the opportunity to have had a relationship/love with basically the entire Gaudreau clan.

I think that's what will make it so special, Guy and Jane were just as loved and adored amongst the fanbase as Johnny was. I hope they feel the love from the Dome tonight.

Right now I don't see a listing except on SNW which they usually black out but put up in the NHL Centre-Ice lineup of channels - there's nothing there as of yet. If somehow this is screwed up I will be very upset. As it is, this will be so tough to watch but I have to, need to watch this one. Don't really care about the outcome too much, maybe hopefully Monahan gets a goal and we win. Something like that.

I was gutted seeing Johnny's family at a Jackets game. They were all wrecks, especially Guy and his wife. I suspect this will be a difficult celebration of life tonight too.

God love them and everyone too. I miss that little guy and celebrating his life alongside Matthew's will be an honor.

Going to be a heavy one. Every time I see Johnny's parents I break a little for them all over. Think I saw my old bauer as part of the bench one of the season ticket holders made but it was a pretty popular stick so might not have been mine.

As for the Flames, score more than 3 goals and I'll take my pants off. Curious to see how Kadri and Huberdeau work out together, don't remember them ever getting much of an extended look.

Very emotional. Miss you and love you Johnny. Glad the Gaudreau's are there, I'm sure the Dome will express nothing but love.
I wouldn't be upset if Monahan scored either.
Saw his interview earlier in the day and really feel for him, and I'm still a big fan of #23.
But, go Flames go, win one for Johnny.

Yeah why is Vladar starting? Doesn't make sense to me.

They're terrible together from the past games they've played together. Kadri is a puck hog and Huberdeau's game is to slow the game down and make a nice pass, meaning he kind of needs the puck on his stick. It's not like Gaudreau and Monahan where Monahan just needs to get open and rip it in the net, Kadri won't defer the puck to anyone and has to do it himself.

Also of note, I am 99.7% sure Vladar is starting tonight because he actually played with Johnny and his mask tonight is a tribute to the brothers.

They've only played 743 minutes together at 5v5 as Flames, and probably a decent portion of that is just on on the fly line changes. That's really not that much in 2.3 seasons. Positive in CF%, xGF%, HDCF%, poor on ice SV%. Exactly even in GF GA with 36 each.

Kadri can at least skate the puck through the NZ and gain the zone.
