I love hearing JB call the game. IMO it wouldn't be the same without him. It's not a leafs game without "Holy mackinaw"!!

Personally I love to listen to those guys broadcasting my games. It's definitely not as enjoyable when having to watch Leafs games without Joe Bowen and Henny lightening it up, Millen's a toss up.
(OT, but I also miss Andi Petrillo and No Bones About It, I think it was called?

You are a Leaf fan. Bowan is the biggest Leaf fan alive. And he calls the game, verbally and emotionally,.... as such. When he is paired with Millen,....it's nearly unbearable to listen to the entire broadcast. Millen comes across as so smart and all-knowing. When actually,...he just blurts things out as soon as he sees the play happen. Half the time,..he's wrong. Bowen and Ralph is bad to listen to too. Jim Ralph is a big Leaf homer too,...but his obsession with penalties called against the leafs,....is bordering on the Twilight Zone. Wow!!!!
Leafs on a losing streak.... complains about commentator that does like every 3rd leaf game.
(Bowen is awesome, he loves this team, and calls it that way (he cried after the leafs won a playoff game in OT i believe). He and Neale were awesome together. Now he is stuck with Millen and Hendricks

It may be "epic" if you are a leaf fan,...but it's embarassing if you are a regular hockey fan. By the way,...if the Leafs ever do go deep in the playoffs, there better be a stand-bye emergency nurse beside Bowan, because I'd be shocked if he didn't "blow a piston",....in a deep Leafs playoff run(God forbid they win the cup,..for Bowan's sake).
why is it embarrassing? Because he calls the game with passion? or is it just because he is a Leaf commentator? I take Bowen over 99% of others in the league.
Most are incredibly boring. That was one of the best calls I have ever heard. (not saying THE best before you decide to jump all over me)

Damn, i thought that was unbearable tv. Rooney, Wayne Rooney!! If i rememeber correctly, some leaf player kicked the puck and Bowen transformed into a british soccer announcer for half a minute...

After the Bozak goal Bowen and Millen went off on some stupid rant again no idea WTF they were talking about and don't care they are just awful together.

???? That isn't hard to understand, Millen caught himself making a mistake on a name and Bowen said he's been there, they were laughing at their selves, nothing wrong with that. I'll take that over Hughson and his sidekick, (Simpson is it?), any day, or Miller and Ferraro too.
