The "978" is the tournament number. If you hover your mouse pointer over the links in the OP, it will give you each tournament number at the end. Just insert that number into the link I just gave you and you'll have the media portal for every tournament (didn't check if IIHF does it for the lower-level ones but def for the big events)

How are this ID numbers given? With ICE HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP i see some pre-tournament gaems from 2012.
With ICE HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP i see some low level of Mens WCH 2022...
When i want to go as far a ican with top level of WCH, what should i look?

Have no idea how the numbers are given but one way I find them out is I do the following:
1. Go to the IIHF tournaments page on the main website
2. Click on the tab and logo of whatever tournament you want to see (ex. World Men)
3. Click on "Games" in the main menu bar
4. Scroll down a tad to the lower left for the "IIHF Official Documents" and click on "Competition Schedule". A PDF should open with the schedule.
5. In the address bar of that PDF will be three numbers in between forward slashes (should look like .pdf/908/ or whatever). THAT three-digit number is your official tournament number to plug in for the media portal or hydra link.

Yeah, sorry I am so busy irl right now, that all things hockey and hfboards related have to take a backseat for a while.
Before things got so busy I managed to find a lot of links for 2025, but not all of them. I'll post what I got a little later today, unless I fall asleep, then I'll post them tomorrow.
I updated the first post, but a number of tournaments, especially division 1, were still missing back when I checked the last time.
Hopefully, I will be able to complete the list before the end of November.
EDIT: Found a way to dramatically decrease the time it takes me to find these. I will finish the update shortly.
