WJC: IIHF Face Protection Rule (for U20)

I find it interesting that McDavid and Eichel have flipped their face protection for the tournament. McDavid wears a visor in the OHL, Eichel wears a cage (I assume) in NCAA, but they are doing the opposite for this tournament.

What is the official rule for IIHF tournaments? Is it that players have to be 18 years old to wear a visor?

Players under 18 have to wear a full face shield, players over 18 can wear a visor.

Whereas in the NCAA every player must wear a cage or full visor.
