They were cursing at him and saying nasty things to him all game, and after the handshake he goes and gives them a little tap just to troll them haha!! Gotta love it!! IGOR!!!

Speaking of Igor, he made a skate blade save that pushed the puck aside just enough for it to ring off the post. I don't think they ever mentioned it during the broadcast. Believe we were still up 2-0 at the time.

I remember they brought it up twice about it going off the post but he definitely got a piece of it.

Czar?

I know this is a lighthearted post but I believe I've seen this misconception before. Yegor is a different name, Igor is not pronounced Yegor.
Snowblind - have you ever seen the movie “Young Frankenstein”? If not then the pun is lost on you.

Didn't he say "Eye-gor" in Young Frankenstein though? I thought you were making a play on Eye-gor with what you perceived to be the correct pronunciation of Igor.

Good, f*** them. Their whole team is like a bad internet troll and their fans are just as bad, although less clever.
They embrace the image and wear it like a badge of honor.

They are going to wrap up the season thinking that Raanta cost them Game 6 and the officials cost them Game 7. They aren't going to think that maybe they need one actual game breaking type forward. They aren't going to question the use of the Aho-Svechnikov-Jarvis line as like a crash line instead of the top line cost them offense. They're also going to blame ESPN for wanting the "larger market" to advance. As soon as that 88% PK got exposed, that team was in deep trouble. The question is whether or not they address the few flaws they have in the offseason or whether they sulk and whine. History says they'll do the latter until they miss the playoffs by a few points, then turn into a joke, and Bandwagon version 3.0 disappears from the arena.
