Pizza's never been too hot for me to pick up by hand. Cheese and/or sauce, maybe, but then you're still getting the same burning effect regardless of how it gets into your face hole.

My lone pet peeve while eating pizza (aside from pineapple toppings, because **** that), is when I don't bite hard enough through the crust, and end up dragging half the toppings off the slice.
