I'm a byfield guy...but there's no way I take him over lafreniere after the year he had

Treat this like a Lindros situation

If Ott wants Laf, 3,5, another 1st (isles'20, or Ott'21)
plus readier guy like Gruden,
plus maybe 1 or 2 2ds among Ott's handful (7!) across '20 and '21

Otherwise just take Laf
and use other assets for a high upside young C

LAF. I'd want to trade down for Byfield. Having LAF behind Panarin and Kreider seems so Rangers but I don't know how worth it it would be. And I think Kreider got a NTC which is why I hate those.
